| well we have water in it lol and it is holding fast all electrics working heater is working
not with ro water but with tap and no salt just basicly testing the position and the placing of all the items
but i have been having seconds thoughts about the filter tho
i think i might get rid of it full stop and put in an over sized skimmer in it's place went down to the fish shop today and had a good conversation about the tank
i told him about the 4ft cichlid tank and he said that it will be a marine in 6-12 minths lol
but it was an impresive setup they had also everything is so cheap compaired to the lfs
but did warn me about alge in a small tank as it can be problematic with out a sump
but also found out they do the auquatics center in newquay called blue reef
just trying to sort the flow in the tank and try to get more areation

| tbh it is really no difference to the freshwater reguards to work but everything is living in the tank from the sand to the rocks and the little tubes that come off the rocks
and then you start to look at corals and then it starts to get facinating with all the different things they each do
the only down side is the ro water and salt can cost a fair bit
i keep reading people leaving their tanks for 4 weeks with out a water change and every thing is flurishing
the juwel tank isnt a bad place to start great little tanks and can be placed anywhere
i am really considering turning the 4ft cichlid tank into a marine or getting a 6ft tank

| i have found a few things in the tank now and am looking all the time at it now lol
i have a snail, some sort of louse (looks like a wood louse but creamy coloured) and i have a few tuby things on the rocks that are coming out and going back in also have a tiny little star fish/sea star that is moving all over the rock, moves quite quick i thought it was dead when i first saw it but this morning it went from the top to the bottom lol
i mentioned doing this nearly 2 yrs ago and am only doing it now lol
