| Hiya everyone, and hello to all the new members  A while since I have been on but have been busy - got a new tank, only small 34litres. It's an aqua One AR 380. I cycled it using the muck from my betta tank and now have 2 female bettas in there swimming about happily  I might put them in with the male when they have been q'd, but they are on their own for now. Would it be ok to have 1 male and 2 female together? What suggestions do you have for names for them? |

I think males and females are ok together (what size tank would they be in btw).
As for names - I am rubbish at thinking of names so will let others help you out there! | |

| No - male and female Bettas should NOT be kept in the same tank as the male will only harrass the females to death. They're usually only kept together briefly for breeding purposes.  | |

Depends what sort of stuff you're into. I tend to name them based on their appearance or things I like. Is one of them not doing so well then? | |

I only name the individual ones. It's hard to name the shoalers 'coz you can't figure out which is which. | |
