Can anyone identify this fish for me? I have asked about this little chap before but wasnt able to get a reasonable photo so there has always been a bit of a doubt about it.

PIC 1

Just to give you an idea of size, this photo is with some Harlequin Rasboras

The other fish here is an Emerald Eye Rasbora

It does look like it should be easily identifiable, Diana but haven't a notion tbh. It looks like some type of small tetra or barb species. scratch

well from what I have learned since posting, it is one of these , but either a female and so not so brightly coloured, or maybe stressed because it's on its own.

I will probably order some more online next week to keep the little fellow/girl company Smile

Thanks for the confirmation Rich. I am looking forward to ordering some fish - havent boght any for a while - and some new plants etc.

By the way, did you look on their 'Tank Cleaners' page. They do various packages you can buy. The deluxe version gives you 4 Common pleco, 6 Suckermouth catfish, as well as a mix of snails and shrimp. All recommended for a 200litre tank apparently!

The package for a 60litre tank includes 2 suckermouth catfish which can grow over 12".

They either arent describing these fish properly and they are providing thre dwarf varieties, or some people are going to end up with some very BIG fish!
