| So that's - 2 x 450litres 1 x 340litres 2 x 136litres and a few of about 90 or 45 litres? It's about time you stopped mucking about and started taking this hobby seriously! | |

Depending on size £15 wasn't to bad a price, I would happily give £15 for an 8" clown.

| I wouldnt! Why,? when you get a smaller feller-who is bound to grow- for £6? I depend it about how much you love your loaches, |

What do you feed loaches anyway? Im considering getting one I'm certainly no expert lol but one thing I will say is if you have room? don't get one loach get a few, they do so much better in groups and you'll have hours of fun watching them. My Loaches eat mostly anything, sinking granuals like Tetra Prima, blood worms(frozen) prawn huge favourite, Cuecumber is a popular choice to.

| A good alternative to Clown Loaches for a smaller tank is Zebra Loaches - they are similar colouting but with many more, narrower stripes. They are also lively, playful fish that do best in a group of 4-6. | |

| Clowns need a lot of space as they can grown to around 12" Zebra Loaches reach about 4" so a group of 6 can be quite happy in a Juwel 125 for example. | |
