| JUST set it up!! Its only took a month or so... It was fairly easy to set up but had an air lock which meant the sand couldnt move about so we had to rock the filter about to get rid of the air in it. Its all up and running now so hopefully the P's wont eat the air tube or cable to the pump!! | |

| No Diana, they need NO maintainance whatsoever...how cool is THAT!! And I dunno about the gunk, im guessing the other filter picks it up?? Or maybe it gets stuck in the sand and as the sand moves about it breaks down the gunk?? I really dont know. OH just said thats what it basically does! And no Driver, you couldnt seed another filter from it, cos theres nothing to seed it from | |
