On monday decided to strip the filter pipes on the 240l tank as it was filthy, so after putting everything back, looking nice and clean
I switched on the the filter and........... nothing ,I had put the pipes on the wrong way round so had to strip it down and do it again.

Then last night the oh shouts THERES WATER COMING OUT OF YOUR TANK. My 220l tank which I had cleaned out in the morning had a large puddle of water on the floor and in the cabinet (lucky I have wooden floor and not carpet) when I opened the door the filter was dribbling water from the seal. I took it apart and there was a lot of water inside the lid of the filter so cleaned it up put it to go and within 10 mins water was leaking again so I had to change the filter over, lucky I have a spare but this is the first time I have had any problems like this. Roll on next week

banghead I will try and get someone to have a look at the filter to see if it can be repaired as its out of warranty

Good job you had a spare ali, I hate it when the filters break down. It inevitably leads to mess and soggy armpits!

Ask for a little snorkel and matching flippers, that should be easy for Santa to find - or do you like dressing in tight rubber Smile
