| i boiled the bogwood that i bought i soaked it for a week changing the water every day then give it a boil for an hour it stained the water faintly but with regular water changes it should be fine | |

| Make sure it IS bogwood though, GD - that's a dark brown softwood - as opposed to Mopani which is a hardwood that is light brown on top, dark brown underneath and more gnarly than bogwood.  | |
