Who's got biggest tank ;)

So...who has the biggest tank on here and whats in it??

Well the biggest of mine is a 200litres one (well just a tad more), with the fish as in my sig, but I would love a huge tank - about 5 or 6 foot!

Biggest at the moment is 60L!! I am getting a 240L soon though!

240L housing:

10 labidochromis caeruleus
4 pseudotropheus elongatus mpanga
3 pseudotropheus zebra gold
2 labidochromis hongi
3 melanochromis interruptus
6 pseudotropheus aceii ngara
8 labeotropheus fuelleborni

& 60kg of mixed ocean & tuffa rock

330l housing:

2 Pink Kissing Gourami
2 Opaline Gourami
2 Thicklipped Gourami
1 Firemouth Cichlid
1 Peckolita (plec)
1 Gibbiceps (sailfin plec)
1 Featherfin Catfish (synodontis eupterus)
1 Ornate Bichir and
3 Senegal Bichir

Probably overstocked when they all hit full adult size but I'll have the Gibby and Ornate in a different tank by then.

That's a nice mix Alison but the clown loaches will start to outgrow it at some stage. Time to start saving for the 300L+ tank. :lol:

well if i get rid of my wall unit on the other side of the room i could get a 6 foot tank in there instead. just have to convince hubby to part with the cash the thing is he enjoys watching the fish but all the day to day stuff and tank cleaning is down to me his excuse is you know more about it than me yeah right

I hear ya. My hubby likes watching the fish also but as far as he's concerned, it's my hobby, therefore my responsibility...

I often wonder what he'd do if I suddenly croaked...probably have a big fry up...

Have you seen the adult size of these guys? They will also appreciate a pond sized tank in the future. Nice fish though!

Don't they get to 30+cm or something like that??

Oooh, a bit of rehoming may be needed at some point alison. The clown loaches and tinfoils get huge, and will quickly outgrow your 200+litre tank.

Unless you have BIG plans for a future tank! :lol:

Rio 400. Stock list to follow when its cycled. JUST filled it with the hose pipe, only took 45 mins. Pics to follow. Stock list will be Oscars, Red Bellied Pirahnas, sailfin plec and scarlet plec. Dont know about numbers just yet though. Its a MONSTER lol!
