I know people on here use garlic, veggies and fruit for the fish, but what make of proper fish food do you all use, whether flakes or pellets. I'll have to go and get some soon so would appreciate some info.

Well most of my stuff is the same as what Matty uses; almost all are Tetra brand including specialist Betta food - now redundant... banghead

Tetra for me too mainly, although if I cant get that I just go for whatever is available. I figure with all the fruit and veg they get given it wont hurt them Very Happy

I use whatever I can buy at the time, Tetra, King British, Aquarian, Nutrafin all in use at the minute. I think if you go for a recognisable name you will be ok as far as quality goes.

Yes, they have spirulina flake we get from the breeder & we give them Cichlid pellets & New Life Spectrum Cichlid food.
Sometimes I drop in an algae tab for the b/n but they never get chance to eat them, the rest fight over it, lol. Also cucumber, courgette & garlic about once or twice a month
