| Today - Ammonia 0, topped up to 4, Nitrite 3, no change, Nitrate 15 - gone up from 5 yesterday! Still no change in the Nitrite. Sorry to keep asking about this but how long should I wait before reducing the Ammonia. Could 3 be the spike? | |

| Yes, 3 could almost certainly be the spike. I'd reduce now to 2ppm for ammonia. Don't worry just yet about the nitrAtes... they will fluctuate during this part of the cycle Well done..it's getting there now ps. dont worry about asking questions, that's the whole point. Asking questions is what makes a forum a forum | |
