| OK boys n girls this is an odd fact - its now hard to find small sponge air filters for smaller tanks online and in a recent betta discussion I said about a diy filter - anyway - whilst not the same design as I had in mind the following youtube video shows an equally simple design using the same principles - all the parts you need will be in your house somewhere anyway https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rj1Glx5anfM | |

| Its a good idea, especially if it can be made on a smaller scale - is it just me though - did the water in that tank look cloudy at the end? | |

| the idea dave is for tanks with fry and bettas - a fluval = too much flow.
I hate fluvals now - eheim all the way (for internals anyway)
btw - Ithink its the youtube conversion that made it seem cloudy as i originally watched this video on another site and the water wasnt cloudy in that version.
You will notice the coke in the bottle at the start is the 'wrong' colour as well. | |
