Just a bit of an update for you lot!

Tanks well and truly cycled and all fish successfully transferred over asnd swimming merrily - wondering how the Hell they have so much spave all of a sudden:)

In my smaller tank I am going to q some new stock and thought of this -

2 Bolivian Rams
6 Cherry Barbs. I do like the look of the Tiger Barbs but apparently they can be aggressive?
2 Pearl Gouramis
5 Harlequin Rasboras
4 Oto's
2 Bristlenose Catfiish

So my total fish stock will be
2 Bolivian Rams
10 Cherry barbs
2 Pearl Gouramis
10 Harlequin Rasboras
5 Corys
4 Oto's
5 Neon Tetras
2 BN's

How does that sound for a 240litre tank? Too many? Any problems there?

Sounds like a lovely mix, Fishfan but make sure you get two female Pearl Gouramis otherwise there might be a spot of bother. The usual recommended ratio is 1M:2F so avoid getting two males or just one male, one female. Wink

Tiger barbs keep the aggression to themselves if you have a decent number of them - I have 10 and they dont even fight amonhgst themselves anymore now that an order has been established among themselves.

As for the Neons - id suggest doubling that number (at leasat double) youll enjoy them more in numbers, theyll feel safer and thus be out n about more often - whilst we knowthe gouramis wont hurt them, they dont know this - uo the numbers, a tabnk athat size will take alot of fish - you know what ny stock level is and all is cool
