hi all

two of my cichlids or acting strange they seem to swim at each other
and start what i can only describe as kissing been new to cichlids i was wondering if this is normal i would be very greatfull for any help and advice.

they are sizing each other up.according to a documentry i have just watched!
it was really fantastic, anyone wanting the link p.m.me.......
if one of there mouths is bigger than the others its ok.
but if there the same they will fight Sad

now i know my big mouth would come in handy..lol

I remember hearing about this too chez, although I can't remember the drtails. I think though that it can lead to one of them getting hurt, or even killed by the stronger of the two, so keep a close eye on it dekker.

i will be keeping a eye on them dont want anything to happen to any of my
beautiful fish, it was bad enough when i lost my betta a while ago,

that is lip locking. they are having a little bit of a fall out and figuring out who is the boss basicly. keep an eye out in case it should become more violent.
