Subject: Firemouth Cichlid Sat Jun 28, 2008 9:18 am
Spotted some of these the other day and just wondered if they're suitable for a community tank? I currently have one Bolivian Ram and an Angelfish in the three foot tank, along with Pearl Gouramis, Zebra Loaches, plecs. Would it get along with these?

Hmmm... I don't know about them with the ram and angels, I kept a firemouth with gouramis and it was fine though. (until the clarias ate it )

Well I did a little bit of online research and discovered that they grow to about 15cm which is bigger than I'd realized so I think that I will stick with my "safe" cichlids. :lol:

ddnt realise they grew that large....the LFS has them they must only be 1" or so
