snail dead or not ???

one of my snails is on the bottom of the gravel
and hasant moved all day yesturday......
I tried to suckard him to the glass pushing him with my back scratcher
so he was facing the glass,so he can attatch himself to it,
but he is still at the bottom not stuck to glass is he dead'ed???

i don't know anything about snails chez so i can't help sorry

Can you put him in a little tub with water and see if he moves at all. Sounds like he might be chez, but wouldnt know really.

The only snails I have ad I squished against the glass of the tank - not the sort of care your one needs I dont think!

sadly gone to the marine ocean in the sky
not moved in 3 days and the hermits was investigating him
didnt want them making a meal of him

Ah never mind chez. The hermit must have been thinking of moving house then, I bet he's wondering where the heck his new bungalow has gone

they can sit dormant on the sand for days if they are struggling to find food this allows a bit of growth normally then they get back up

mine sat in the sump for a week without moving until one day he decided to move lol

hermits tend to be the snails downfall as they will pick it out for the shell quite funny to watch always best to leave the shells in the tank as then the hermits have an option to go bigger depnding on the size of the shell
