You got a lid on your tank chez??

I really do like the look of cichlids and oscars especially. I am toying with the idea of having a cichlid tank when I get my new one - I was just going to transfer my current fish into it but might keep them both.

Which cichlids would be compatable together - can you have more than 1 oscar in a tank?

when i change the water i always put the lid back down before i go in the kitchen
to get the buckets filled.lol

the only concern i have theres no drip tray...but i have ordered
one now off ebay,i was scared if he jumps and hits the lights dont want him burned.

hey fish fan. i found you cant just say what cichlids especialy americans will get along as there personality realy does play a big part.
most common rule if its small enough to fit in my mouth its "FOOD".

oscars are not realy that agressive. and yeah if you have a big enough tank you can have as many oscars as you can fit.

theres one oscar at 16inch oh my.
i couldn't watch the vids where they feed feeder fish
but theres some HUGH OSCARS OUT THERE.lol

perhaps best sticking to one type ie: say from s.americas.

i have african's from lake malawian (pseudotropheus acei) beautiful fish colours are so vivid, but then again so do all fish, cichlids are very clever too swimming right to the front panel and looking straight at you. hope you get some and dont forget pics plz. nearly forgot have a look at the links that munchy has put on here its really good.

That's so cool. I hope they put towels on the floor...

didn't watch the video but when feeding my cichlids the other day i got soaked by my oscar she jumped about a foot in the air to try to get the food out of my hand. she was very lucky that she landed safely back in the tank.
