| I'm off at the weekend to get my fish. I have had a look around and like the look of the following. Which ones do you think would be suitable for a nice calm tank? Heres the list,
Male Guppies Plattys/Swordtails Danios Plecs - small Harlequin Rasboras Male betta
I think this will give fish at the top, middle and bottom is that right and will they all get on ok? I'd appreciate any advice thanks.
Cant belive at long last I am talking about fish  |

| there may be a problem with male fighter and guppies with their long tails, the fighters sometimes think its another fighter and kill them, some people have experienced no problems though. Hit and miss i think, but I personally wouldnt | |

| See what happens? After weeks of asking questions about water and ammonia you are now asking questions about fish! Is there no end to it?!!! | |

| Yes, agree with phishy, bettas and guppies sometimes have problems, but apart from that there's nothing wrong with the fish that you have listed there. Enjoy shopping | |

| Now the fun starts elj. I love going to the lfs to look at fish, even if I dont buy any. Beware the danger though! It is sooooooo hard to see them all swimming round and not come home with somethingm even if it isnt suitable for your tank, so make sure you know what you are buying. |

| Well I think my list of fish is ok, although I have had to cross off the betta which is a shame. I wont buy anything without checking on here though  |
