I have just noticed that I have an interloper in the tank - presumably he came in with the newbies, and I just didnt notice!

So, at the mo he is VERY small. Has the same shaped tail as the rasboras, and a black dot on its body, where the body meets the tail fin. Under its eyes on each side is a red dot, and its body is slender, with darker lines rinning vertically along its length.

Dont ask me to send a pic - I have yet to take a decent fishy pic and this one moves too quick, so any ideas from my description would be great

Well I reckon it might be a thick band rasbora then - it will be interesting to see how it changes as it gets a bit bigger Very Happy
