| Have just been woken up by the burglar alarm going off - nothing to worry about, just a sign that at long last, power has been restored after being off since 2pm yesterday.
The tanks are cold and have been without filtration for about 12hrs so later I am going to do a massive water change and start water testing daily for a bit.

| I was out most of the day dekks, didn't get home till 7.30, went to switch the light on and nothing happened. Checked next door and theirs was off too, but everyone else was fine. My next door neighbour had been doing some external DIY over the weekend, extending their fencing round the front garden so I wonder if that played a part as the diggers dug up the road right alongside the brand new fence! Fortunately I had a few candles in so wasn't sitting in total darkness  | |
