| Not a lot has happened. I got some sexy shrimp which got eatten...dont know off what havent seen them for 3 weeks. I got a yellow goby which lasted 24hrs! But I got a red headed goby which looks great! I have just added a pair of clown which are in awesome condition however they were underfed and i saved them from a local reefer who couldnt afford to look after them so it was a bargain for £20 the pair. I have also started my fragging obsession lol...Ill get some snaps up. | |

| One pregnant Cleaner shrimp waiting to pop - this is happening every 4 - 6 weeks and its usually two weeks inbetween the two of them popping. Full tank shot: This will be changing soon as I got more LR currently curing so Im going to plate it stacked at the rear. Red headed goby, lovely placid fish, but it can jump out of the tank. saved him twice he must have 9 lives: Purple Mushies just opening up: Green mushies which I attached to a rock but its currrently making its way round the tank lol: 2 frags growing one nicely, but can I hell think of their names lol: Mr photogenic always comes out when I get the camera out. However he is starting to trash my tank and throw rock around he is rather large som im trading the three hermits in for smaller one: A pair of ocel clowns: thought I had one of them in the tank but must have imagined it. The fire fish hiding as the new clowns are a bit too activew for him atm: Slowly my sand bed will be littered with bits of rock from fragging. I just took a cutting from a friends Toadstood the other day its only just stopped sulking so It should open up soon enough: Think ill dose the tank with some calcium to help them grow quicker. Well tell me what you think, any suggestions are most welcome too. Cheers | |

| dont dose the tank unless it needs it and calcium will make the coraline grown quicker
keep the tank at arround 350ppm calcium (normal for marine tank)
Soft coral needs addictives like iodide to enhance and maintain its color and growth but this is a difficult thing to get right i belive
looking good dave in all
big tanks are great but i liked the simpleness of the small one like 7ltr water change a week lol not i do 10 gallon on the big one and 3 gal on the smaller one
if you get a big tank i would say get an ro unit | |

| indeed, the rear wall a scrub clean once a month. The power heads go into vinegar every 2 months n they get back in that state really quickly. Its about 6 months old now so id say its rocking onto mature. | |

| what are your phosphates? though about a sea hare? it will eat the algae and once the algae is gone its best to move him onto another reefer as it will starve. | |

| Well some updates, my firefish died, I think this was after a huge fight with the female clown. Both had ragged fins but the firefish came off worse hising under a rock looking very ill and gasping for breath. I have removed a lot of my corals as I found an army of slugs having a feast. Good news they have now gone Even better news I have bought a halide light for my tank for a fraction of the price. Arcadia OT for a wopping 80.00 so good news for my corals when I replace the once which were munched. | |
