my sump and weir build

right lets start at the begining

glass cut and bought ?15 all in

aqua mate ?3.75 for c3 pack (tube lol)

now just time lol

already to go and will update as we go






1 weir made



2 weir's made



next just let them set and should then be steady to handle lol

just got to wait for these to set then i can add them to the tank and then i can start on the sump

which is going a different way to what i planned and what it was lol

1 weir in place now on to the second lol






right a little progress made on the sump

the dsb and critter hide out



and single pane in place as i broke the other 3 lol so i have to get 3 more tomorrow lol








finished the sump this morning now i did say i wasnt very good at diy

as you can see not the best at siliconing lmao

but it should function as desired

next diy on the cards is to bring a similar thing to martin to the table but cover the tank in the wall with just the bow of the tank sticking out bit like a 3d picture and have a small tunnel door going to the back of the tank

but that wont be done till i am happy with everything else
