just take your time chez make sure everything is ok for elvis or it will be

were done 3 1/2 hrs it took
3 massive arguments divorce in pipeline
and E didn't come out of it unscathed
I Put the small bucket i have in the half empty old tank
then guided him in with the net.... no problem.
then i submurged the small bucket in the big plastic box with his heater in
and a air stone.
now he was ok...
so we was messing with tanks oh and arguing when i looked in on E
I saw a mark on him. on closer inspection it looks like some scales missing
right on his top fin..Now i don't know if he has caught this on the heater
as this was laid at the bottom of the tub...
getting him back in the small bucket to put him back well.... we had a bit of a fight
he decided he wanted to stay in tub..
any way hes in his new tank now...
its still a bit cloudy but thats mainly from the old gravel i put back in all the muck...
i have tried to show you his war wound on the close up..

hi chez tank looks stunning hope elvis is settling in ok and no worst for wear - wow 3 1/2 half hours you must be knackered a lot of work there - but all done now hope elvis is recovering.

Looks great chez. Wouldnt worry too much about the missing scales. Clean water and maybe some Melafix wil help that grow back ok.

Don't get divorced chez - who would do all the cooking if you did?

I was relating the tale to my OH about Elvis' many moves and I showed him the photo of his latest home. He said to tell you that it doesn't look big enough...

my back is hurting this morning, i'm just glad its over.
and I Defenitly won't be doing it again.!!!!!
so E will just have to stop growing so fast now...
or grow a reverse fin, when he can't turn.
the tank is 50 inch long.and 19 inch wide so he should be ok.
the only thing i reqret is the black back ground...
with the tank being in the alchove its too dark in there
and you can't see him with him being dark
looks like I will have to use the tank light more now.
its very dark in there, wish we had used a stone coloured background....

he's swimming around ok this morning, and been fed.
so he seems ok. i will do a small water change wed.. just to help his war wound.

pity about the background thats the thing you dont know what its like till you put it on and in place - 50 in long that must have been a weight to move around no wonder your back hurts today.

Ive read a few of your posts chez, you have done a great job for Elvis and obviously take good care of him. I can understand you not wanting to do any more tank changes though - seems like you have done that a few times
