Oh wow!! Isnt that great!

Are the eggs brown or white BG - fertilised aggs are a lightish brown colour, non fertilised eggs are white.

I might be wrong but I dont think your sevs will eat the eggs, but are there other fish in with them (sorry, cant remember!) and they might try to.

If the eggs survive, and hatch them the parents will move all the little fry to a special area they have prepared in the tank, where they thing they will be safe. There can be aggression at this time if other tank mates get too close so you will have to keep an eye on things at this time - apparently it can get a bit nasty.to lay their eggs. They hatch in around 3 to 5 days, but that doed depend on what the ph level and temperature is in your tank.

Once they are swimming round, the parents will nurse the fry in their miuths - I think it is usually the Mum that does most of this while the Dad does the manly thing and defends their territory.

Hope they all get on ok BG, let us know how you are doing, and post a few photo's if you can Very Happy

they decided to eat the whole lot of eggs after digging a pit and protecting there area.
oh well maybe next time. there stil only young sevs so it might take them a few goes until they get it right.
