Some Fish 1895808819-giant-goldfish-scale

Now, this is some goldfish.

Goldie, bought for 99 pence 15yrs ago, now weights more than 2lb. He is owned by a lady called Ada Shaw, 83yrs, who feeds him twice a day, cleans him out weekly and puts a drop of hot water into his tank every night! I wonder if its dechlorinated??!

Ada also apparently talks to him a lot to stop him getting lonely and says "I sometimes think I'm making too much of a fuss over him. He has his very own character, he can be bossy and stubborn, but mostly he just swims about looking at himself."

Amazingly, Goldie isn't the world's biggest goldfish even though at 15.7in he is three-times the length of the average pet fish. That award goes to an 18.7in whopper in Holland.
