| I've noticed recently that my neons seem to be losing their colour. It is just two of them at the mo. They seem to be ok, swimming, eating and all that, but when I turn the lights on they look paler than usual. any idea what the problem is. I thought they might be cold, but the temp is ok. | |

| I think neons can look a bit paler in the morning, although I have never noticed it with ine. I believe they can loose colour overnight and then colour up again in the daylight. If they seem well otherwise, keep an eye on them for now. I am presuming that all is well in the tank - water stats, other fish etc? | |

| Test the water just in case it's a sensitivity to ammonia/nitrite. Also, is there any bullying issues 'coz loss of colour is often due to stress. | |

| I havent seen any bullying Mary, they all seem to swim around together a lot of the time, although not as much as the rasboras do, whether that means anything or not I dont know. The water is ok, do regular water changes, clean the gravel every other week too. | |

| The water is ok. I'll pay a bit more attention and see if its related to having the lights on. I'm not really sure at the minute. | |
