| went to clean the tank out last week and I have a fluval 2 on the opposite side to the external just to move the water about .When I pulled out the the fluval my male bristle nose was behind it, all of a sudden I could see BABIES every where still with the egg sack on, The female angel was like a serial killer eating as fast as I could net them anyway I managed to transfer some of the babies into a spare 54 litre tank ,I have been doing a small water change everyday and feeding liquifry to them I have seen 4 but as they are same colour as the gravel and my eyesight is lousy I am not sure how many survived. Anyway will have to look for a cave or something as the pile of bogwood is not good enough for daddy plec. | |

| dont bother with liquifry - they dont eat it. Just feed em like adult BN's - thats the gods honest truth so veggies and catfish pellets, wafers etc - i feed my baby bn's a bit of vegetarian fish flake every so often - not sure they go for it but i know baby bn's like tetra pro veggy crisp (its expensive tho) otherwise - its courgette, peas, luttice etc etc etc all the way | |

| Oh I would love a female BN, I wish one of mine had turned out to be a girlie. It must be great to see little BN's swimming about the tank | |

| Well I did mention it the last time I was there and they seemed interested , I got the pair thats breeding from them about a year ago and they haven't had anymore in since then, and maidenhead aquatics nearby dont have them either, so at the moment there are 3 from the last lot that are doing well and the clutch that dad is on ,so we shall have to see how many survive. | |

| Well - i had a tank blitz today - found another 8 babies from the brood that largely died in the heatwave (by the ssize I guess they are 4-6weeks old) and LOTS of newer babies.
You dont see em swimming about Diana - you spot em by chance on the glass etc - very secretive tbh.
So my pair seem to breed like bunnies on speed - at this rate - im seriously going to have to consider moving them to their own tank. | |
