Well i forgot to mention about my poor little puffers

well both of them died due to a freak problem

the socket that the heater used packed in and wasnt noticed untill i found the puffers not moving in the morning, as it was a dual soacket the pump was working fine it seems as if the switch on the second just gave out for some reason and flicked off not too sure why but i went un noticed as the pump was always on so i thought it was working fine.

so possibly for a day and night the tank was unheated but i remeber checking the stats that morning and the temp was @ 24*c then the following morning it was @ 5*c due to a very cold night and an open window (as she burnt something)

when i noticed the temp i went looking for the puffers and they were at the bottom as normal on their bellies so i went to take them out but they didnt move

i had piced out a little tank for them from lfs as well but menas i can have another com tank so not all bad news

Ah kbekl. So sorry to hear that. Things like this are one of the reasons that I check the water flow and thermometer every morning to make sure the filter and heater are working okay. I've had a couple of near misses with my five year old unplugging them to charge his Gameboy... Rolling Eyes

As a union rep i would say that the admins should also be given stars and not swords and have them lit up to what posts have been made Twisted Evil

think when rob comes down here on sun might ask him to change mine lol affraid
