Well the title says it all really. I am thinking of getting a new tank and keeping cichlids. Is there a best one to start with - Malawi's Victoria - it all seems confusing to me. Also I have read that you can get substrate specific for cichlids - is this necessary and are there other things like that that you need to get to keep these fish.
