Well, I'm having a week of it... Shocked

After doing a water change on the BiOrb yesterday, the filter air pump wouldn't come on again. I plugged it out, fiddled with the wires and tried again but nope! Dead... Rolling Eyes ...so I had to borrow the air pump from the goldfish tank to run the BiOrb filter until I get a replacement (which I've ordered). It's a more powerful pump so I hope the Guppies cope ok with the increased water turbulence...

Then last night, when I went to turn on the BiOrb lights - the bulb blew and I can't figure out how to open the sealed light unit to change the bulb. There's a spare in there so there must be some way of opening it but I can't figure it out. Embarassed

Then I was doing a water change on the 90L tank this morning and the filter didn't turn on again afterwards... affraid

So I took apart the filter impeller and found a load of Java Moss fronds wrapped around the motor. I cleaned it out, plugged it in and TG, it's working fine again now but still...what a morning! crazy
