GD, are you sure that it is 4 and not higher?? I know you said you found it hard to tell the difference between the two - could you have overdone it with the ammonia at all??

nope, its not 2 and its deffinately not 8ppm

its very close to the 4 colour

Best I could take - on bathroom window. Bear in mind it is rather cloudy an overcast outside!


If I gotta keep faffing around like this then the fish go in and can finish cycle themselves..ill just buy 30 neons as cannon fodder lol!

looks more blue than green to me GD - almost perfectly matches the 7.6 ph level, just to confuse things further!! :lol:

its due to the tiles.

the 4.0 is the best matching green. But if there is no change over next few day I aint sure what I'll do, other than rant n rave lol Razz

I'd say between 2 and 4 also. A tip would be to photograph the tube with the card upright for the closest match. Wink

Remind me, how long has it been stuck for GD? Maybe try a nitrAte test & post the results

Well, if this were MY tank i'd be thinking of a 25% water change today as it's not moved in about 11 days.
Obviously i'm not telling you to do that but there will be new breeds of fish discovered at this rate Smile
Worst it can do is slow it down, but if it's stuck, then it aint going very fast anyway, is it?

I washed my hair & tidied the kitchen, wondered what you were doing, lol

well i aint got time im on a 14hr shift from 1pm.!

tomorrow its my laser eye surgery so i cant really do much tomorrow unless i get up realy early!

Turn off both the filter and heater as they both need to be submerged to work properly. Smile

Do you think you overdosed then GD - that would have caused everything to stall wouldnt it?

Very Happy well I got finished work very early!!! LOL only been in for a few hours! the joys of built up Time off. Mind i needed to go to a dentists appointment
