| my husband has just called to tell me that my 230l tank is leaking we have found where the water is leaking from its dripping from the top rim of the tank but when i checked it the water level was beneath it the only thing i can think of is that it condensation dripping through the seal i have checked the tank and when i run my fingers around the top rim they are wet so will have to get sealant tomorrow and keep an eye on it tonight i dont relish the thought of changing the tank i had enough trouble getting the plecs in there in the first place | |

| I had a leak in the top rimof my tank when I got it and used a bit of sealant on it and it's fine now. it was easy enough to use and I havent had any leaky problems since. Hope you manage to sort it out | |

| I think leaks at the top of the tank are fairly easy to deal with, its when you get them at the bottom that its hard to seal because you have to empty the tank to deal with it. |

| The small tubes of silicone are really easy to use. I have just had to seal another small leak in the top of my tank and it just takes a few minutes. just make sure the water level is below the area you want to repair and the glass etc is dry. I just ran the silicone around the outside of the tank. Easy-peasy! | |

| I had the same prob with my 30L tank. It was soooooo annoying. It is sitting empty in the office at the minute til I decide what to do with it. I want one nice fish in there who wont be lonely. Preferably one that'll match the office which is red & silver  | |
