| I really am sorry..................here's a new lot of readings.
Started 6/3 PH 7.8 Overdosed tank and had to do water change Got Ammonia down to about 4ppm (API kit).
7/3 PH 7.8 Ammonia still looks 4ppm so added nothing Nitrite 0 Nitrate not checked
8/3 PH 8.0 Ammonia 4ppm so nothing added Nitrite 0.25
9/3 PH 7.8 Ammonia still 4!!! Nitrite 0.25
10/3 Ph 7.8 Ammonia between 2 -4. Taken back up to 4 Nitrite 0.25
15/3 ph 8.0 Ammonia 2 ish Nitrite 1.0
18/3 ph 8.0 Ammonia 1.0 dosed up to 4 Nitrate 2.0 Nitrate 40!!
20/3 (Day 15)
Ammonia 1.0 Nitrite 2.0 Nitrate 40
That's no change in these now for 3 days and it doesnt even show any sign of it getting any dfferent - I mean the readings are definately on thse levels not just sort of (if that makes sense). I know it takes a bit longer than this to cycle, but do things someimes come to a halt for a while too?? |

| It all seems to be going ok elj. It is a slow process, and yes, it can occassionallt 'stall' sightly, but at the mo I dont think there is anything to worry abot, just keep dosing the tank daily as you are. | |
