the marine fish are fine after the move
I thought they might fight being in a smaller tank
but they are fine and all survived the move
and guess what >>>
for the first time in 2 years of having them no nasty alge/diatoms
thank god, the tank looks fantastic hope it stays like this now
I Have also since found out that the tank I had for them
was no good as people have had problems with diatoms in that set up.

I Sold the other set up cheap to someone who is having it for tropicals
gave him the link to this site of course

loving the little blue clamp on butterfly for the evening light.

I only have the 1 small finger coral now,
and that seems fine at the top where the light is
hes drooping in pic as the evening blue light is on so it closes up (bed time)
but it opens up fine in the daylight

I won't be having anymore coral frags when thats gone.

That looks a really nice set up chez. Is the tank out of sunlight now, is that why the algae is less?

thats great chez, it makes it more enjoyable to have if you dont have algae cluttering things up Smile

I am sure I read somewhere that some tanks have something in them (maybe phosphate???) when they are made ans it causes algae, so maybe that happened with yours.
