yeah, still cant decide on golden rams though or a paradise fish. will a 60L tank be ok for a couple rams? would i need 2 or 3?

Id be careful what you decide to add now phishy.

Golden Rams are lovely but can be very fussy about water quality and tank set up and are sensitive to ph, needing a low ph I think. They are lovely fish though.

Paradise fish can be quite aggressive I think.

I think of the two the rams are probably easier to look after, but it depends what your ph is.

i have the blue version fish - 4 in a 65liter tank
they can be a bit quarralsome but nothing major,, just provide enough bits n bobs to break up territories Wink

never heard of them being fussy about water quality - that aside, they are great litle characters - my mum makes excuses to visit my tankroom and talk to them Very Happy

what are these? googled them and nothing came back. or did u mean the blue ram? they are very pretty, theyre not the same as normal rams though are they, they look much more colourful

oh ok not seen them before, but then again this was the first time id seen the golden rams. were some stunning fish there though but i forgot their names. one was £40 for a pair but they were REALLY nice but i begrudge paying that for fish after my Piranha Tank fiasco lol

well - in a new tank - £40 fish are not a good idea, your system is still far from stable.
