| Guess it's a dream of a lot of us to go over to the salty side at some point. I would just love to have a tank with some seahorses in - and the odd beautiful mermaid wouldn't go amiss either!  | |

| Thats proobably one of the main reasons kb, plus all the faffing round having to get the right levels of salinity, skimmers etc. Lets face it, with a fw tank, all you have to do is add warm tapwater - hardly rocket science is it  | |

| It's not really.
It seems it when you first start, but doing the daily water tests soon become second nature to you, and once the tank is cycled and you have your fish in, it is just a matter of keeping the water sweet by doing weekly water changes and gravel vacs - simples! | |
