| They look to be about week old dekker going by the size of them compared to the gravel. | |

| they are a couple weeks old rich and growing fast is that normal this is my first b.n fry mate - or is it something to do with the warm weather we are having i have about 8 fry that i've seen maybe more i'm really pleased

| you must have quite large gravel then - its normal - they grow fast for the first two months then start to slow down - I believe the crowding has an effect on growth too so if you leave them in your main tank - theyll probably hold their own and soon grow. My LFS took em off me when the fish where about 2inches long (2 months old) but nature being what it is - no hard n fast rules. just feed em like adult BN's but dont be surprised by how much they can put away in those bottomless bellies | |

| thanks for the advice rich - well i'm going to keep them diana half myself and my son want's half so no problem - but next time i will have to visit my lfs and see if i can trade some. gravel is a bit large rich but they seem to love it

| keep them permanently? if so - they grow up to be arguementative - two pairs max for a 4ft tank | |

| I have got 18 at the moment stuffing their faces on courgette and daddy plec is fanning in the new cave so will be ringing around next week. I would prefer if mum and dad bristley had safe sex for a while | |

| mine tend to have a couple of brrods then a break (of about a week) cruel as it may seem - if you simply leave the babies in the tank and not move them - nature will take its course - youll end up with 2-4 survivors at most | |

| hey dekker mine have just had a bunch of 150 fry so i have alot in a grow out tank at the moment with bronze corys and cory eggs tumbling ! 50/50 albino and browns they are awsome to watch get bigger but you will have a big die off with all the weaker plecs | |
