THE PURPLE IS THE STAR CORAL I MOVED IT SO IT CLOSED UP
SO DOES THE TOADIE BUT THAT STARTED TO OPEN NOW.



THIS PIC SHOWS A CLEAR VIEW OF THE STAR CORAL BACK LEFT OPENED UP
I GOT THIS A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO £20 AND ITS DOUBLED IN SIZE
AND ONE OF THE 2 NEW SNAILS I GOT HES AT THE FRONT OF THE CAVE



Cleaned them out today thats why the sand looks clean
I scraped off the top of it with net...

I am still having trouble with brown diatoms on the sand
its a losing battle I think.
I really need another powerhead but not been near anywhere to get one.
I have hardly any sand left in there now.with keep scraping the top off it.
I hate to see it brown.

yes its didgi temp gauge E Has one in his as well
you can have it cent or farenhite
E is set at 75 but temp is playing up with this hot weather
marine tank keeps dhowing 80 in this heat but heater is set at 78
so I am leaving the lid up when Im in room to try cool it down
just hope this heater isant faulty.....
I have to watch them as Nemos a jumper...

is the other one marlin ? my kids are gonna hate you as i have an excuse not to name any nemo lol

have you tried to drop the temp down 1 degree on the heater and see if it make a difference at all

I just found a guy local to me selling some frags so hopefully this week im gonna be booming with corals

the salty section of the site is really taking off now, soon be more salties them tropicals

not really as they are still tropical lol

have been keeping the wife from turning the cichlid tank to salty as she keeps saying it would be better to have a larger marine tank

also i have a bet on at the mo with my new marine lfs they think i will convert in 6mths

Chez why not get a mesh or egg crate to cover the tank top whilst you have it lifted?

Also my tyemp has risen from a steady 25 > max of 28 the other day not too bad its just watching for the evaporation really - testing salt levels when i can atm. No change,

Im still yet to do a water change as I am waiting till a week after fish go in maybe even 2. so its a long boring waiting game atm.

No luck with stock this weekend maybe next weekend.
