My Marine with the backing on

here it is with the lava backing on
its too small as it was for orca tank.
but at least it covers all the muck up on the back panel

How did you stick that on chez? I hate to ask this, but isnt there a chance that this backing will get covered with algae too - and would be impossible to clean?

Your tanks looking great though - is that H I see on the left?

its really heavy Diane we moved all the rocks forward
CLEANED THE BACK
then slid it down and pushed all the live rock and cave back
it's wedged as well as its at the back of the heater,
im happy with it now, as for the algae i dont think it will stand out as on the pale blue back.you can clean it with say a pot scrub brush if it gets right bad,
but i think it should be ok.
just had a thought though.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oops now Horace can climb further up..lol
the clowns torment him and he trys to grab them with his pincers,
but never can but he has more movement now.. lol

Elvis is always nosying in on them.lol
I think he can see them, but they never flinch, hes more scared of them.
and darts across tank if they make a sudden move..lol

Youve got a great set up there chez, with E and the salties, they must keep you entertained

i like the natural look. Why not get some more CuC to control your algae issues?

I understand why you put it on there but tbh, I think it looked better without it - especially since it doesn't fit...

NAH it covers all the muck up on the back it looks better in real life though.lol
