Dekker - have you tried making all the camera settings manual focus etc?

Some fish can see the infra red beam cameras use for focus etc - like dogs can see the signal from tv remote ontrols

they are quick and a pain to photo dont you just wish you cold freeze them with a pause button

its a bit like my l259 wont stay still especially if i get the cam out

as ive said before - use burst or continuous mode if all else fails - get the fish used to a routine at dindins time and have the camera ready - if all else fails - put your digi cam in video mode - they all have this these days and use moviemaker (free with XP) or somethign similar to get snapshots out of the movie file

thanks guys going to try all of your suggestions - maybe to morrow a bit busy today
going with granddaughter on her school trip to the deep aquarium in hull, really looking
