We visited this aquarium in Co. Kerry last week. There was a great selection of Marine species here, both Coldwater and Tropical in a selection of various tank types. Alas, the corals were mostly fake which is a pity but the fish were very healthy looking and very colourful. As I was unable to use flash photography, the quality isn't as good as I'd like but you get the idea.
Tropical Marine tanks containing Red Sea species such as Damselfish and French Angelfish
Also, Blue Tangs and Clownfish.
Gobies and Blennies and a Longnose Hawkfish
Cylindrical Coral Reef Tank containing species such as Tangs, Pufferfish and Wrasse plus some Starfish
Butterfly Copperbanded and Foxface
Reidi Seahorses
There was a fab Sting Ray tank where you could actually stroke the rays. They seemed to like it too and poked their noses up above the water in anticipation.

When I saw your freshwater photos I was hoping there would be a marine version
Absolutely great photos Mary - you have officially joined the ranks of the 'Good Fish Photographers League'
I wonder why they use fake coral - just to make things easier to manage I guess - less to go wrong, but as you say the coopur of the fish make up for it. I do like the cylindrical tank, that looks great, but the prize for me was the seahorses and the starfish.
I WANT A MARINE TANK!!!

Well it certainly pushed my photography skills to the limit, having to fiddle with the settings to make up for the lack of flash. They turned out quite well though. The Seahorses and Sting Rays were my favourites - and J.J.'s too, as you can see.

no corals mean less lighting. T8 would suffice.
