new cichlids

ih all i setup my cichlid tank about 3 months ago, i have really taken to these fish they have great character sometimes coming to the front panel and looking straight
at you weighting things up, yeah they are stunning looking too.

they are pseudotropheus acei they were recommend by lfs as a good starter cichlid for a first timer.

for the shot. cichlids are very clever imo they know what they are doing and more to the point they know exactly what we are doing too.

They do dekker, the one in my avatar almost sits at the front glass when i'm there with my camera! She must like the limelight

yeah and people say that fish only have a memory span of a few seconds,

i dont think so do you munchy they know when its feeding time
when its photo time and so on i could watch mine all day and not be bored.
people that havent kept them have no idea imo.

Well I reckon they must have better memories than me - I have just spent half an hour looking for my keys and found them in the fridge!!

I do think Malawi Cichlids are stunning but alas, with my soft water, I can only keep the "easy" community species of Angelfish and Rams.

sorry to hear that mary coz i think you are missing out on some amazing fish.

but there's always munchys stunning photos to look at.

my cichlids are in my roma 240, i believe they will only get to 4 inch, i was told this by lfs, it is called harlington world of pets have you been its not too bad, there is one called viscum there as well, both have a good selection.
