I would like to let you all know how my sunday was i.e my husband decided to knock a cup of coffee into the 54 litre tank I have by the mantlepiece. He managed to hit off the feeding flap on the lid and the coffee landed in the tank, I then spent an hour doing a water change and testing the water to make sure everything was ok. I then decided to go and see my brother and sister-in-law about 6-30 so my husband decided to hoover the living room, when I got back about 8-45 I noticed my 60 litre tank light was off, when I went to check he had knocked off the wrong switch when he put the hoover away so the tank had been off just over 2 hours I think you can imagine the language that thrown around . Anybody want a husband going free, does light housework.

Well, youve only got yourself to blame!

I keep telling my OH that we men are genetically wired in a certain way that makes it impossible for us to do household chores. We are excellent at lifting small objects (as long as it is filled with some amber nectar), chatting about important things like sports, etc, and mixing in sociable groups inbterested in similar things.

She just wont believe me though! dunno

I actually find all that quite therapeutic. This week I'm doing my monthly clean out of all the filters. Talk about gunky!! Bleurgh...but very satisfying when the tanks are gleaming!
