| For the Bottom Dwellers I have noticed you can get both pellets and Wafers. Whats the best option to go for?
Tetra TabiMin Feeding Tablets Tetra WaferMix Variety Wafers
Atm I aint sure what type of bottom dwellers to get but Id like to have everything ready for them.
What do you guys use and what bottom dwellers do you have?
Thanks! | |

| I have 2 BN's - lovely little fish and I wouldnt be without them - my favourite fish in the tank. I feed them wafers - at the moment Hikari wafers which they love. I'll move this topic to the Plecs section now! | |

What type of red pepper did you feed? If it was a Bell Pepper then its ok to feed that to Plecs but never give them hot or spicy peppers. |

| I'm too lazy. Courgette and cucumber seem to be the favourites so that's what I stick with. | |

| Hiya alison, what I have done with the spids is sort of par boil them, sometimes I mash them with a little bit of garlic and roll into little balls for them and just chuck them in, they love them, and the other fish get stuck in too | |

| When i give my plecs potato i just peel, wash and bung in the tank. They don't need to be par-boiled first. |

| Just bear in mind that the types of bottom dweller (especially they type of plec) can have dramatically diferent dietary needs so research is the key - some plecs are omnivore or even carnivore, others eat veggies only (inc. algae wafers etc) and some eat wood... | |

| I gave up on potatoes as only the Otos have any interest in them but they're so slow at eating them, the flipping things just disintegrated and migrated little potato pieces all over the tank... | |
