| I like the look of that, and it doesnt look that hard to put together either. I wish I had the space and another tank to rig it up to. | |

| That's mad isn't it? You'd have to make sure you have compatible species in each tank though. Imagine what would happen if a shoal of neon tetras swam into an Angelfish tank... | |

| Be great though if you had two decent sized community tanks wouldn't it? I really like the idea of this - a plan for the future I think. | |

| Thats a great idea but what do you do when you do a water change? Wouldnt all the water flow out of the tunnel and you would have to disconnect it and then reprime it all over again - every week? The article doesnt mention about water changes that i can see. I wish he had mentioned more about the pump to stop the water stagnating too, that would have been interesting to find out about. |

| Good point Cam. All we see is the "fun" element. It might not be so practical in reality. | |

| you could probably fit some sort of cut off or cover to it i suppose. its the pumping method to prevent it getting stale i am not sure about. it would be great to have tow big tanks linked like that though. |

| OR if your tanks were small enough you could put the filter on opposite side of the tanks and get the flow aimed at the tube?? Wouldnt that make a constant flow of water going through it?? just a thought | |

| The gut said though that the intake was in one take and the output in the other. So you get a natural flow between the two | |
