Hiya, thanks for all the help the other day, it was really welcomed. We took ALL the fish back to various local shops that said they would take them and rehome them, and bought 10 Harlequin Rasboras just to try and keep the tank cycled. We have been testing the water and all seems ok, but is this enough fish to keep the filter ok? It's a 100 kitre tank and we dont want to get any more fish if possible until we have had a good look at which ones are best.

It should be if you just keep a eye on the water stats. Test the water daily to make sure the ammonia and nitrite stay zero. When you decide to put in more fish, just add 1-2 per week to allow the filter bacteria adjust to the new bioload. If you add too many new fish at once, you'll end up with an ammonia spike (known as a mini-cycle) which could harm the health of the fish. Smile
