Hiya everyone
I'm still treating the tank with melafix because of the fishies swollen eye but dont see any change. How long does tghis usually last for? I'm not sure if it is doing anything or not.

How long have you been treating it for now, Ant? If there's no change after a week then I'd suggest trying one of the Interpet treatments. Not sure which one but you could check on the bottles. Smile

He's had it 4-5 days now, but I've also had a quality issue with the water - it's had a green tinge and I've been doing loads of water changes so I dont know if that has affected things at all

Is its eye cloudy or cleat Ant, can you make out anything like that. I know it's hard to see sometimes on fish that wont stay still Very Happy

Apart from the green tinge, is your water ok 0 ammonia, 0 Nitrite Nitrate less than 40?

It looks clear Diana, and the fish is quite well apart from the swollen eye. I still havent got any Pimafix. perhaps I should try and get some of that tomorrow and start that, see what happens.
