Am testing the water every day,
Ammonia 0.50 - on 26th
Nitrite 1.0
Nitrate 10
Ammonia 1.0
Nitrite 1.0 - 27th
Unchanged 28th
Ammonia - between 1 and 2
Nitrite 1.0 unchanged
The water is still really cloudy and the ammonia and nitrite dont seem to be changing quickly. I am adding ammonia to bring the level up to 4 because there isn't a 5 on my testing kit so I dont know if this is high ebough to make the cycle work? | |

| I think everything is fine Fishfan. The cloudiness will clear as the bacteria builds up a bit more. The fact that you have ammonia readings and Nitrite too shows that things ARE happening, and it is just a question of waiting and giving it a bit of time.
