| i have noticed 1 of my neons (female, i think) is taking cover under my cave like log ornament. it is very fat and has outgrown all the other it is become very teritorial and is giving the others a gd thrashing if they come near. i think shes pregnant! but i cant be sure, any gd nuggets of info out there? |

| It would be a rare event I think frfnf, because I think they need quite specific water requirements to breed, as well as a long tank to swim in in order to spawn. I think they also need complete darkness in the tank in order for the eggs to hatch. They are egg layers, and the eggs can be seen 'stuck' to ornaments, plants etc. Just keep an eye on her, just in case she is not well and not pregnant at all, and see how she goes. | |
