i have been naughty very naughty

well i have a new tank again lol as the old one was annoying me with little things here and their also the sump didnt enable me to add much so i had a little bit of a change

the tank is a custom made one from windsor aquatics measuring in at 140x54x61 so arround 101 gallons - displation + sump so is probably under 101 gallons in total, sump is a 30x18x15 and has mm and cheato + caulerpa with a 20w energy saver 6500k bulb

lighting is the same 2x 150w + 2x 30w actinic + 2x night lights

in total i have 27500lph (68x the volume) + 3000lph return

tank is drilled in 4 places 2x 40mm top sided outlets allowing a small scale weir which keeps it all clean in the tank and 2x 25mm return outlets which i have decided to take of line due to the non return valve being noisey as sin, will have to either look at a closed loop or try and see if i can find a way arround the noise

have a few new additions but just to recap i have

3x humbug damsels
3x azure damsels
1 pink pincushion urchin
bi-coloured angel
eibli's angelfish
kole tang
starry blenny (he is one fat git always eating)
sand sifting starfish

corals at the mo are
various zoa's
chalice
hammer
ricordia
various mushrooms
duncan

as it sits now, their is some rock sitting in a container cycling waiting to go in.

doesnt look well.

dont know dave it looks 100% better than my poor excuse for a marine tank

but yes it was bleached, i got it off a mate that had been having problems with their lights and half killed it so i took it on and it was doing well, untill i moved again

Id still like a nano but wont do it os if the hassles of getting ro water etc.

Anyway - im sure like with freshy tanks - patience is key - arent diatoms one of those things that go with time?

didnt move too far from their but the tank wouldnt fit through the door so had to be sold

am starting to move away from the marine side of life due to the cost and having other interests that are quite expensive and make having a marine tank problematic also not having the full time it would need

but if you have any marine queries i can help if you need it
