well it had to happen

i was watching my poor little injured fish and then it hit me

why was i running 2 tanks and neither tank could this little fellow stay in due to aggression, so i got on my thinking cap and then it hit me (no not the fish)

i needed a different tank so i trolled through bay and my brother has been nagging me for one of the tanks so i called him up asking does he still want it.

well he came arround the next day and picked the tank and it's inhabitants up and away he went after agreeing with me and a deal was struck

now i have the 4ft tank left but how much longer will it be here ????

now the reason for the departures are i am getting a new one this week and the way i looked at it was

if i have more space then i would be able to house the little fishes with their own territory so to speak so the new tank is

5ftx2.5ftx2.5ft so that will be 860 ltrs in the main display tank (twice the volume of the 4ft and then some) with a 4ftx18"x18" sump bringing the total water volume up to 1080 ltrs

so once i pick it up i will then add pic's and set it up ready to go

wow K thats an awesome tank - really looking forward to seeing some
photos of that setup mate - you will be able to have afew tank mates in there.

no but is is solid concreate lol
this is just a little tank compaired to some lol

so be careful and don't let it fall through the floor

same as me mate 5 x 2 x 2 foot tank best to go bigger then smaller as the fish really do chose there own hang out !

do you have the 30in hight and width been looking arround and this tank holds more water than the 6x2x2 weird how 6" can make a huge difference in volume isnt it

well here it is my final upgrade cant get a bigger tank in the house even if i tried lol


tank is 60x30x30 sumps is 48x15x18 so total water volume is 1000ltrs give or take a couple ;D

well need to clean it and get the temp lights hung and then it can be filled lol

andi cant reach the bottom even when stood on a chair lol

it looks like a 4 x 2 x 2 might be the way you taken the photo nice tank tho mate cant wait to see it full !

measured it with tape lol defo 60x30x30 lol

ahh sorry its cause its 30 in i thinking its 24in lol mine is 24in width and hight but holds alot of water still lol this will look nice when done !

thats some tank K going to make a great setup

well unsure at the min as their is a crack in the front pane which is a major pita

going to cost £200 to sort

but did get offered a slight smaller 5x2x2 for £100 + this tank so i might go down that route

ho thats a bit of a downer - hope you get things sorted mate

God, you wouldn't want to take a risk with a leak in a tank that size would you . Hope you manage to get it sorted ok.
